After you paste the script
The installer builds the guest. These notes cover the questions that show up the same week: which shell, which box, what is heavy, what needs a licensed ISO.
Starter notes
- Where to run Proxmox scripts Node shell as root on the Proxmox host. UI is https://HOST:8006. Do not paste those scripts inside a guest.
- Where to run Docker scripts Inside an Ubuntu VM or LXC, not on the Proxmox host. The generated script refuses /etc/pve/.version on purpose.
- Windows apps vs Windows guests The Windows tab is winget on a machine that already runs Windows. A Windows VM still needs your own licensed ISO from the OS tab.
- Heavy stacks Wazuh, Immich, OpenProject, and local LLMs need extra RAM and disk. Tick them last, not first.
- PDF toolkit Self-hosted PDF work is Stirling-PDF in the Docker picker. Default login on that image is the shop pair documented with the installer.

ISO, install wiki, first storage pool, first backup. Split this into its own page when the list stops fitting.

Guest sizing
Rough RAM/disk for media, vault, mail, SIEM, and local AI so new boxes are not undersold.
